Mozarkite Society of Lincoln Inc. – Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the First Christian Church, 200 S. Limit, Sedalia, MO 65301.
President: Pam Radu
Attendance: 13 members present
Minutes:
The minutes were read and entered into the file.
The treasury report was read; the reports were entered into the file for audit.
Old Business:
Bradley reported that the website is complete and just needs payment. We will be hosting using Wix. He will reach out and ask for an invoice to be sent to Joyce.
New Business:
President Pam circulated a sign-up sheet for the Missouri State Fair. It was mentioned that more Show Flyers and Mozarkite History Pages need to be printed.
It is time to rewrite the bylaws. The by-laws state that the Executive Board (Bradley, Pam, Nancy, Karl, Joyce, Larry, and Mike) must review and rewrite the bylaws every 3 years. A date will be scheduled in October to revisit and rewrite the bylaws.
Nancy moved that we have our Pot-Lock in August and go out to dinner in September at Bandanas; this motion was seconded by Renee. (Motion: 11 in favor, 0 opposed – Motion Carried)
The Rocks for Paws Dog Show is scheduled from 10–3 PM in Stover, Missouri on August 24; they have requested our support as in past years.
A sign-up sheet was passed out for the August Carry-In, which will be a business dinner. Mike was appointed to check if a room at the church can be reserved.
The Christmas Party, if available, is scheduled for December 14 at 6:00 PM; sign-up sheets will be provided later.
Kelly brought in some rocks donated by a gentleman from South Dakota to display to the club.

With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:25. (Dinner was held before the meeting; no refreshments provided.)
