August Meeting Minutes

Minutes:
The minutes were not read.
The Treasurer’s report was read and filed for audit.
The meeting was called to order at 7:34.

Old Business

• Flyers should be updated with correct contact information, and banners also need to be updated.

• Carl and Kelly will put up the signs for Casey’s and 65 HW at 10 am Friday.

• Barbara suggested getting new buckets for rocks on display at the State Fair.

• Kelly recommended polishing the rocks in the storage unit to increase chances of selling them.

• Nancy moved to donate the rocks in the storage unit to Kelly to polish and replenish. Seconded by Larry.
  9 in favor. Motion passed.

New Business

• Joyce will print 50 Rock Show flyers for distribution. Advertising will also be placed in newspapers and free radio spots. Karl will post the information on the Facebook account.

• Pam will confirm with the vendor to ensure attendance, and Bradley will contact additional vendors as a backup.

• The club will meet at Colton’s at 6 pm for food and a meeting.
  Bradley made a motion to hold the meeting at Colton’s. Seconded by Barbara. Motion passed.
  Diane made a motion to hold the meeting at 6 pm. Seconded by Larry and Nancy. Motion passed.

• The club will research prices for new member T-shirts and consider placing an order.

With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 8:17.
