March Potluck Meeting

Location: 2909 W Broadway Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301
Attendance: 12 members present

The minutes were not read.
The treasurer's report was not read; however, it reported a gain of $30 from dues.

Bylaws:
A meeting was scheduled for the executive committee to review the bylaws on April 29th at 3:00 PM at Joyce's house.
Scholarship:
The scholarship is complete and has been sent out.
April Dinner & Meeting:
Dinner is scheduled for 6:00 PM at Fortune Palace (3005 S Limit Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301), as motioned by Lee (motion carried, all in favor). The subsequent meeting will be held at the church at 7:00 PM.

Rock Donation:
Pam introduced the topic, and Diane moved to donate rocks to a geology teacher from Independence. The motion was seconded by Nancy and carried.
June Picnic:
A picnic is planned for June, tentatively to be held at Liberty Park, with the church as a backup plan.
Rock Display:
Joyve and Larry reported a rock display in Marshall, Missouri, at the Dragon Cave (8 E Morgan St, Marshall, MO 65340).
Museum Collaboration:
Pam will visit the Benton County Museum to obtain a copy of their tri-fold brochure so that the information can be updated and additional copies can be provided.
