A Rock Display for Cole Camp Summer School will be held June 16th at 2:00 PM. Pam, Bradley, Kelly, and Karl will attend to set up and run a rock display.

New Business:

Dennis Clark requested a supply of flyers for the Rock Show to be displayed at the Heritage Day Weekly Show. Joyce volunteered to provide 75 smaller hand flyers and 50 additional bigger flyers. More flyers will be printed as needed.

Flyers will also be displayed at Casey’s, Bullseye, 65 Cafe, City Hall, (Lincoln) Silver Fang Crystals (Sedalia), Facebook, and on our website.

Next month is the Annual June Picnic. We plan to host it at Liberty Park, weather permitting. If weather does not cooperate, we will use the church as an alternate venue.

Nancy made a motion to move the picnic to June 23rd, seconded by Pam. Bradley then made a motion to move the picnic time to 5:30 PM, seconded by Pam. Both motions carried with all members in favor.

Bradley offered to grill food for the picnic, and hamburgers were selected for the meal. Bradley will provide lettuce and tomatoes. Pam will provide cheese, and Nancy will provide condiments.

Bradley also suggested setting aside rocks at each stage of the tumbling process so members and visitors can see how rocks change throughout tumbling. This will be used as part of the Rock display we noramlly have at the State Fair.
